Chemistry. Not my favorite class - except for the lab portion where we got to mix ingredients to make things explode or bubble, change solid state to liquid, liquid to solid, or change colors. I loved experimenting.
I still love experimenting, mixing ingredients to cause a reaction or multiple reactions. My husband and I have a drawer full of toys of all kinds, shapes, and sizes. Some vibrate, some are glass, some are metal, some are silicone and some have texture while others are smooth. There's a rainbow of colors, some shiny, some not. Different lubes for different uses line one edge, while beautiful, soft ropes nestle in their baskets, bundled with care. There's a crop and a feather. A leather belt and an anal hook. A suspension rig rests one drawer down, ready and waiting to support my body in suspended patience for his fancy.
Experimenting, causing explosions. We've been doing it for five years and we're still learning, still trying new concoctions, still finding ways to elicit excitement, still perfecting the perfect mix for the desired result. Our romance is our lab, our safe place to try whatever we want. Our security in each other is our fire extinguisher, ready to come to the rescue should a mix go awry.
My chemical romance may be a stable compound, but our passionate exploration is by no means diluted.
Thank You, Marie, for this fun prompt! I like chemistry now!
